  • $1.00 Local One-Way Bus Fare (within Hood River and Wasco counties)
  • $2.00 Local One-way Dial-a-Ride Fare (within Hood River County)
  • $10.00 Regional One-Way Bus Fare (anytime you are ending or starting your trip at Gateway Transit Center)

Please note that if you are going between The Dalles and Cascade Locks the cost is $2. This fare is not available online, but can be paid on the bus or at the CAT offices.

Custom pickups and drop offs on Cascade Locks or Upper Valley routes are $2 per pickup or dropoff.

CAT now offers a 1-Day Online-Only Gorge Transit Pass for all CAT services, including the Columbia Gorge Express that travels to Portland.

Please Note: International customers please check with your carrier prior to purchase to ensure you have cell service when you plan to ride the bus.

1-Day Gorge Transit Pass Special Promotion:

Great for families, couples, and individuals looking for a day outing in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. Please note this is a CAT fare only and is only valid on fixed-route CAT buses and cannot be used on other transit systems in the Gorge.

Please Note: Tickets are required to visit the Multnomah Falls Recreation Area and the Historic Lodge. Those riding the Columbia Gorge Express bus to Multnomah Falls automatically receive a free ticket to enter the Falls area.

  • $80 pass covers Dial-a-Ride.
    This fare is available at the CAT office at 224 Wasco Loop, Hood River, OR 97031. It is not available online.
  • Valid from date of purchase until Midnight December 31, 2022
  • Includes Multnomah Falls entry permits.
