Ride CAT Free to Mt. Hood With Our New “Gorge-To-Mountain Express” Service

Tis the time of year to take to the mountain for skiing, snowboarding, and outdoor fun in the snow. And now getting to and from the mountain this winter just got a lot easier with our new Columbia Area Transit (CAT) Gorge-to-Mountain Express bus route. CAT has teamed with Mt. Hood Meadows to provide public transit service to Mt. Hood seven days a week—and it’s free. The new service will take riders along Hwy. 35 to and from Hood River and Mt. Hood Meadows and runs from December 16, 2019-March 29, 2020. 

Stops include:

  • CAT Administrative Office @ 224 Wasco Loop (free Park-n-Ride)
  • Port Stop at Event & CGE Transfer Site (free Park-n-Ride)
  • Odell at Foxtail Cider & Distillery at 2965 Ehrck Hill Drive (no formal Park-n-Ride
  • Parkdale/Mt. Hood @ Wake & Bake (no formal Park-n-Ride)

Best of all, there’s NO CHARGE to ride the Gorge-to-Mountain Express. That’s right, IT’S FREE!
