SUMMARY:HRCTD Board of Directors Meeting - Public Hearing
DESCRIPTION:Columbia Area Transit (CAT) will be accepting public comment on the proposed fare for the Gorge To Mountain Express of $3 one-way and $5 round-trip. The first public hearing will be held at the October 21\, 2020 Regular Board of Directors monthly meeting at 4pm. The second public hearing will be held at the November 18th Regular Board of Directors monthly meeting at 4pm. If approved as proposed\, the new fares will go into effect on December 1\, 2020. Gorge To Mountain Express riders will also be able to ride the service with the annual GOrge Pass which is $15 for youth and Community ID Holders and $30 for Adults. \nInterested persons may submit testimony regarding the proposed fare increase\, either verbally or in writing\, before or at the public hearing.  Written testimony can be provided by mail to Columbia Area Transit at PO Box 1147\, Hood River\, Oregon 97031 or by e-mail to amy.schlappi@catransit.org.  All written communication must be received either at or prior to the hearing to be considered.  Verbal testimony can be provided at the hearing or by telephone at (541) 978-8066 prior to the hearing. \nThe Hood River County Transportation District is taking measures to limit exposure of COVID-19.
