SUMMARY:HRCTD FY20-21 Supplemental Budget Hearing
DESCRIPTION:Hood River County Transportation District will hold a supplemental budget hearing for Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021 which will provide an opportunity for public comment. Due to COVID-19 HRCTD received reduced fares and contract revenue\, and spent less on operating expenses and personnel. Additionally\, a supplemental budget was required due to delayed delivery of vehicles which are expected to be delivered and paid for in the next fiscal year. The supplemental budget also reflects small changes to local revenues and ODOT allocation of CARES ACT funds. More detailed information can be found on our Budget Committee page. SUMMARY:HRCTD Board of Directors Meeting - Public Hearing
DESCRIPTION:Columbia Area Transit (CAT) will be accepting public comment on the proposed fare for the Gorge To Mountain Express of $3 one-way and $5 round-trip. The November 18th Regular Board of Directors monthly meeting will be the second public hearing. If approved as proposed\, the new fares will go into effect on December 1\, 2020. Gorge To Mountain Express riders will also be able to ride the service with the annual GOrge Pass which is $15 for youth and Community ID Holders and $30 for Adults. \nInterested persons may submit testimony regarding the proposed fare increase\, either verbally or in writing\, before or at the public hearing.  Written testimony can be provided by mail to Columbia Area Transit at PO Box 1147\, Hood River\, Oregon 97031 or by e-mail to amy.schlappi@catransit.org.  All written communication must be received either at or prior to the hearing to be considered.  Verbal testimony can be provided at the hearing or by telephone at (541) 978-8066 prior to the hearing. \nThe Hood River County Transportation District is taking measures to limit exposure of COVID-19.
